Teams & Divisions

All WFDF National Federation (NF) members in good standing are invited to participate at WMUC 2024 in Irvine with each NF automatically entitled to register for one (1) bid per division; Master Open (MO), Master Women’s (MW), Master Mixed (MX), Grand Master Open (GMO), Grand Master Women’s (GMW) and Grand Master Mixed (GMX). Great Grand Master will also be included if more than 6 countries are interested.

Member NF’s are requested to fill out the registration for all divisions to which you want to send a team. Based on the interest received, the WFDF Ultimate Committee will allocate bids accordingly. It is important that every member fills out the “expression of Interest” (even if you are not coming) so that bids can be allocated accurately based on the “bid allocation” rules.

The Masters event is open to:

• D5.4. Grand Master Divisions
  • D5.4.1. A player participating in a Grand Master division as a female player must be thirtyseven (37) years old or older during the calendar year in which the tournament concludes.
  • D5.4.2. A player participating in a Grand Master division as a male player must be forty (40) years old or older during the calendar year in which the tournament concludes.
• D5.5. Great Grand Master Divisions
  • D5.5.1. A player participating in a Great Grand Master division as a female must be fortyfive (45) years old or older during the calendar year in which the tournament concludes. D5.5.2. A player participating in a Great Grand Master division as a male must be fortyeight (48) years old or older during the calendar year in which the tournament concludes.

WMUC 2024 is a National Team event, therefore your team should be a representation of your Nation (not a club team).

There is a chance that not all NF’s will get bids for all of the teams that they are interested in sending. WFDF will notify you as soon as the results of the registration per division are known. Note: Allocation of bids are made based on the WFDF Ultimate Committee rules.
