| On behalf of California Ultimate Association (CUA) and the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), we want to extend to you and all the Ultimate community a warm welcome to WMUC at Great Park in Irvine, California. WHO: The WFDF 2024 World Masters Ultimate Championships (WMUC 2024) will feature the world’s best Ultimate players in the mixed, women’s, and open categories of the master, grand master, and great grand master divisions represented. Partner hotels, sponsors, and local businesses look forward to welcoming the estimated 50+ teams and 1000+ athletes and fans with open arms. WHAT: In addition to an incredible tournament, there will be entertaining social events and panel discussions taking place throughout the week. The event is an opportunity to bring our critical minds together to discuss how we can grow and improve our sport. Plus we’re planning a possible RecordBreaking Event! On Opening Day, all athletes and the general public will be invited to participate in a World Record attempt for the most consecutive flying disc throws (from unique participants). WMUC 2024 is going to be a blast both on and off the field. WHEN: WMUC 2024 will be held from Saturday, November 10th through Saturday, November 16th over eight (7) days. WHERE: WMUC 2024 will take place at the gorgeous Great Park — a 1300 acre property built on the former U.S. Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, in Irvine, California. Irvine is a stunningly beautiful city close to a wide array of activities for the whole family. We’ve also included some extra details on transportation and accommodation to help you with your decision making and planning. However, all teams are strongly reminded NOT to book flights, apply for visas, or reserve hotels until REGISTRATION closes for the event in early January 2024.

LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE
WMUC 2024 is being organized and run by Grant Boyd, with a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of dedicated key staff including: David Anderson, James Erdmann, Joanna Whitney, and Laura Paradiso.
This group is an incredible collection of avid TD’s, behind-the-scenes Ultimate pioneers, and event directors. Behind that entire team is the official host organization, California Ultimate Association (CUA).
Over the past seven years CUA has been the driving force behind the organization and delivery of Ultimate tournaments large and small, as well as a handful of creative opportunities aimed at growing the sport across California.
Together the organization is committed to delivering a truly world class event, just as they did for WBUC 2023, USAU 2023 Beach Nationals, and USAU 2021 College Nationals.
